He was born on March 11, 1949 to Walter and Virginia (Benning) Boe. From an early age Boe valued the importance of a work ethic starting with his childhood paper route and working hard throughout his life, for his family. From 1969 to 1973, Boe served his nation proudly in the U.S. Air Force as a radar repairman. Boe also demonstrated the importance of family by his love and support of his parents along with Sue’s parents in times of special needs. Boe always thought of others before himself.

Boe’s passions were “Da Bears,” Braves, and Celtics. He loved watching his sons play sports and never missed a game. You could find him fishing in the nearest lake or in the ocean with his daughter and grandson. When the weather was nice, he spent most of his time at home on the porch with his faithful dog. A trip to the casino with family was mandatory for any birthday. Towards the end of his life, he loved “Grandpa Daycare” with his newest grandson.

Blessed for having shared in his life were his wife, Susan, his daughter, Kristina Eichmann, Tampa, FL, sons, Brandon Boe, Sioux Falls, SD, Jordon (Mary Lenards) Boe, Sioux Falls, SD; his grandsons, J.R. Eichmann and Cameron Boe; mother, Virginia Boe, Sioux Falls, SD; brother, Gordon Boe, North Wales, PA; sister, Rhonda Boe, Sioux Falls, SD; brother, Robert (Konnie) Boe, Sioux Falls,SD and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by by his father, Walter Boe, Sue’s parents, Clement and Delores Weier, brother-in-law, Dennis Herrboldt, sisters- in-law, Mary Boe, LuAnn Weier, and Jan Weier, nephews, Matthew Weier and Chase Weier, nieces, Marsha Jaros and Brittany Villano.
