Jeffrey Keith Jensen, age 60, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota died, Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at George Boom Funeral Home and On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin at 1:30 PM, until the time of the service at the funeral home in Sioux Falls. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Jeffrey Keith Jensen, the son of Marvin and Michele (Authier) Jensen was born on October 30, 1962 in Wessington Springs, South Dakota. He grew up in North Platte, Nebraska and graduated from North Platte High School. Following High School, Jeff attended Mid-Plains Community College, where he attained a degree in criminal justice. During this time Jeff met and married Nina Hamilton at North Platte Methodist Church. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in North Platte, and in 2000, the couple moved their family to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Jeff worked for Sanford and Avera Hospitals as a security guard until he retired.
Jeff enjoyed watching football, cheering on the Denver Broncos every time he had the chance. Baseball was also a love of Jeffs, especially the Minnesota Twins. Most of all, he loved and enjoyed the time he had with his grandkids. Jeff was a fun, loving and caring person who always put his family first.
Left to cherish his memory are, his wife, Danine “Nina” Jensen of Sioux Falls; son, Ryan Jensen, of Sioux Falls; daughters, Jodi (Ernesto) Interiano and Jennifer (Seth) Haper, all of Sioux Falls; grandchildren, Maleia, Mayte, Adam, Bianka, Nolan, Taylor, Ellie, Maddex, Levi and Zoey; and brother, Clint (Jenny) Jensen of Council Bluffs, IA.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Michele Jensen.
