Eva Regina Sitzmann, daughter of Margaret Connor Sitzmann and A. Joseph Sitzmann, was born Oct 11, 1904 at LeMars, Ia. She grew up and received her education there. On Jan. 19, 1927, Eva was united in marriage to Lawrence P. Thill at LeMars, Ia. The couple then moved to the Dell Rapids, SD area where they farmed for many years. In 1964 they moved to Sioux Falls where Eva worked at St. Joseph Cathedral School before working for Howard Johnsons for 15 years, retiring in 1986. Lawrence preceded her in death on Dec.19, 1989.
She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral, the church Alrar Society and Catholic Daughters of America.
Grateful for having shard her life are 7 sons, Bill, Ft. Collins, CO, Gene, Dwaine and Darrell, all of Sioux Falls, Cletus and Tom, Lakewood, CO, Terry of Windsor, CO; 3 daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Geraldine) Scholl, Denver, CO, Mrs. Dick (Elaine) Klundt, Lakewood, CO and Marion Thill, Sioux Falls; 28 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Loretta Kolker, LeMars, IA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers, Edwin, Raymond, Lawrence and Walter.
