Diane Harms, age 71 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away at home surrounded by her beloved family on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at East Side Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.
Diane Susan Ronning, daughter of Conrad and Charlotte (Moen) Ronning, was born March 23, 1949 in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up and received her education in Sioux Falls and then began a long career in service to others working as a nurse’s aide for 25 years in area nursing facilities.
She married David A. Harms on August 25, 1972 in Sioux Falls. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2020.
Diane was a longtime member of East Side Lutheran but above all, loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, David C Harms (Sherry) of Linthicum, MD, Jennifer Harms, Sioux Falls, SD, Jason Harms, Sioux Falls, SD; six grandchildren; and many friends and relatives.
