Mrs. Simon Andersen died at the home of her son, Anton Andersen, five and a half miles west of Dell Rapids, last Friday, June 16, aged 68 years, 2 months and 10 days.
Ane Katrina Andersen was born in Denmark April 6, 1848, where she resided until 1903, when she came to the United States with her husband and family, locating in Iowa, where they resided until two years ago, when she with her husband moved here with their son, Anton, with whom they have resided since.
Deceased has been sick for about a year and a half with pulmonary tuberculosis. She leaves her husband, one son, Anton, residing here, one son in North Dakota, and a son and two daughters residing in Iowa.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Stordahl Church, conducted by Rev. Bergsaker, interment being in the cemetery here.
