Michael "Mike" S. Plucker
(September 15, 1971 - April 12, 2008)
Michael "Mike" S. Plucker, 36, of Sioux Falls died on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at his residence. His funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Reformed Church in Dell Rapids. Interment will be in the Dell Rapids Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 with the family present at 7:00 p.m. at Kahler Funeral Home.
Michael "Mike" S. Plucker was born on September 15, 1971 in Sioux Falls, SD, the son of Eldon and Patricia (Muller) Plucker. He grew up and attended school in Dell Rapids and graduated from Dell Rapids High School in 1990. After graduation, Mike worked as a cook and then later worked as an equipment operator for Myrl and Roy's Paving Inc.
Mike loved to fix up and work on cars and pretty much take anything apart. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding three wheelers. Mike was also one of the best cooks in the area and had a regular following at the restaurants where he worked. Like his father Eldon, Mike had a passion for Billiards. But most of all he loved spending time with his sons Steven, Joshua and Jonathan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant nephews.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Steven, Joshua and Jonathan of Sioux Falls; his brothers, Jay Plucker of Scotland and Lee Plucker of Dell Rapids; his sisters, Pam (Tim) Godlevsky of Scotland and Kim Heyer of Sioux Falls and his many friends and relatives.
