Dale W. Little, 76, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD. Mr. Little was born Oct. 21, 1921, in Tecumseh, NB, where he graduated from high school in 1940. He joined the Air Force in 1941 and later attended Sioux Falls Radio School. He was the assigned to the European Theatre with the 8th Air Force. He returned to Sioux Falls in Oct. 1945 and worked at Northwestern Bell and the Gas Company. Beginning in January 1953, he worked as an adjuster at State Automobile & Casualty Underwriters. He married Florence Rhead of Canton in 1962. He later became branch claims manager for State Automobile and Casualty Underwriters and served in that position until his retirement in 1986. He worked part time for Dakota Claims Service as an adjuster in Sioux Falls after his retirement. In addition to his wife, survivors include one daughter, Randi Fodness of Lennox; a son, Paul of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a sister, Marjorie Wisley of Oklahoma City, OK.
