Farm: Runningshaugen gnr 122-4 in Lom, Oppland, Norway
From period 1865 to 1866
Marit Ivarsdotter b 1829 d 1894. Married 1861 to Elias Tordsson b 1829 on Teigane 3 under Bolstad in Luster, died 1887. They took over Runningshaugen in 1865, after Runningsteigen was divided into two farms. Child:
1. Tord b 1861, utfl. 1866 to America, d before 1887.
The family traveled to America in 1866. Had a farm in Highland township, Minnehaha Co., South Dakota. Information from letters sent back to Norway.
Other Information:
Marit was the daughter of Ivar Nilsson (1799-1869) born on Slettede and Marit Larsdotter (1801-1891) born on Sulheimsøyi. Marit had one full brother (Lars Ivarsson) and 3 half siblings.
