HARTFORD, S.D. – Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church for Wilhelm F. Titze, 74, who died in a Sioux Falls hospital Saturday.
Mr. Titze was born in Corsica, Nov. 28, 1893. He married Martha Gerlach Oct. 9, 1919, at Mitchell. He had farmed in the Corsica-Hartford area until he retired to the city of Hartford in 1950.
He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Bert Gerlach; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six brothers, Carl, Lebanon; Herman and Bernard, Gettysburg; Paul and Conrad, Mitchell; Oswald, Mount Vernon, and three sisters, Mrs. Ann Sperlich, Mitchell; Mrs. Rose Neugebauer, Dimock and Mrs. Amanda Shaw, Lebanon.
