Albert Dietz Dies At Home of His Daughter
Father of Mrs. George Morgan is called Sunday; Funeral Tuesday
Albert D. Dietz died last Sunday, April 24th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Morgan. He came to Dell rapids on Thanksgiving Day to visit his daughter and family. He health had been poor and he became worse, gradually failing until he passed away peacefully and without pain.
Mr. Dietz was born at Faribault, Minn., Sept. 11, 1865, and at his death was 61 years, 7 months and 13 days old. He was married in 1882 to Miss Veda Finley of Milbank, S.D. She died March 4, 1904, at the age of 43 years.
For the last ten years Mr. Dietz had made his home at Des Moines, Ia.
He leaves four children, one daughter, Mrs. George Morgan of Dell rapids, and three sons, Lester and Harry of Des Moines, Ia., and Lyle of Ottawa, Kas.
The funeral was held at the Morgan home at 10:00 o'clock a.m. Tuesday, with Rec. Wendell A. Johnson in charge of the services. Burial was in the Dell Rapids Cemetery.
