Services for Dean Brockberg, 70, of Sioux Falls will be at 2 p.m. today at East Nidaros Lutheran Church, rural Baltic.

Dean died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at the Avera Dougherty House.

Dean was born March 7, 1938, at Luverne to Alvin and Phyllis (Heckt) Brockberg. He attended country school near Pipestone and later graduated from Edgerton High School. He and Julette Johnson were married May 4, 1962, in Luverne.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Julette Brockberg of Sioux Falls; a brother, Keith (and Gay) Brockberg of Marshall; five sisters, Patricia (and George) Larson of Mapleton, Carol (and Jim) Stout of Pipestone, Karla (and Ron) Ackerman of Fridley, Donna (and Mike) Wetteland of Edina, Annette (and Doug) Dubbelde of Pipestone; sisters-in-law, Gladys Buttolph of Crystal, and Shirley (and Tom) Wagner of Pasco, Wash.; 30 nieces and nephews, 44 great nieces and nephews, and six great great nieces and nephews.
