Zekiah Bell
January 24, 2021 - February 11, 2021
Zekiah Ori Bell, born January 24, 2021, spent 12 days with us in spirit and 18 days with us in body. Zekiah passed in his parents' arms on February 11, 2021 after being found unresponsive the morning of February 6, 2021. Zekiah is donating tissues to help save other babies, in hopes of sparing their parents the pain of losing a child.
Zekiah was the beloved son of Brandon and Katie Bell of Sioux Falls. He was deeply cherished by his siblings Juanita, Rosa, Roman, and Zinnia. During his brief time on earth, he enjoyed snuggling with his family, eating, sleeping, and filling his diapers. He was a sweet, perfectly made, handsome little boy. He was loved by so many and is greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday February 14, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Sioux Falls Church of Christ in Sioux Falls, SD. We ask that those attending wear bright colors to celebrate Zekiah’s life, as well as masks to protect others. We will be accepting new toy and backpack/duffle bag donations for Children’s Inn 409 N Western Ave in Sioux Falls, for those who feel compelled to make a donation on Zekiah’s behalf. Children’s Inn did state that there is a greater need for bags, as opposed to toys. Please call 605-338-0116 for an appointment to drop off.
