Kenneth Bombeck
January 3, 1943 — July 13, 2022
Milbank, SD
Kenneth LeRoy Bombeck was born on January 3, 1943, and was the son of Bruno and Alice A. (Wibeto) Bombeck. Kenneth grew up in the New Effington, SD, area and graduated from high school. He was united in marriage with Linda Kryger. They were blessed with a son, Bryan. He later married Lorna Chipperfield and they were blessed with a daughter, Brenda.
Kenneth worked a variety of jobs, including janitorial for the public schools. He lived in Yankton, SD, and Sioux Falls, SD. Following his wife’s passing, Kenneth moved to Milbank and has since resided.
Kenneth enjoyed playing cards, watching football, and spending time with his friends.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Bryan (and fiancé, Abby Menke) of Sioux Falls, SD; three grandchildren: Andy White, Joselyn Bombeck, and Taylor Bombeck; step-daughter, Deb White of Cozad, NE; sister, Shirley Dalin Wells of Pryor, OK; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda; wife, Lorna; and brother, Donald.
