Jackie Watson
July 9, 1971 - October 14, 2023
Jackie M. Watson, age 52 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Ava’s Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD.
A Celebration of Life for our beloved Jackie will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church (1700 E 6th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103 ) on October 21, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please come and enjoy food, coffee, and lots of stories. We can share tears, laughs, and memories about our time with Jackie. After, if you would like to join Haley and some others at the Silver Moon, you are welcome to do so. Anyone that would like to send cards, flowers or plants feel free to send them to 1420 E 5th St., Sioux Falls SD 57103. Thank you for your thoughts, love, and prayers! ♡
Jackie had an impressive work ethic all her life. She enjoyed waitressing, running her own cleaning business, and later, loved her job and fellow employees at RDO in Sioux Falls.
She adored her children and her grandchildren the most, they meant the world to her. She enjoyed listening to music, and would often humor us with her own made-up vocabulary.
Jackie enjoyed time with “her babies” (her pets) and cherished her time with them. Jackie spoiled her family with the best home-cooked meals and the sweetest treats.
Jackie was full of spunk and spontaneity to the very end. Her life will always be remembered with only the sweetest of memories. We send her off with all our love.
Grateful for sharing her life are her mother, Lea Watson of Sioux Falls, SD; her daughters, Sarah (Jared) Overweg of Chancellor, SD and Haley Christmann (Sean Kneip) of Sioux Falls, SD; her sister, Jilann Scott (Ryan Pounds) of Sioux Falls, SD; six grandchildren, Paris, Johnathan, Chloe, Nina, Mindi, and Silas; foster brother, Jonathan; her significant other, Lenny Reiter of Sioux Falls, SD; numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Bill Watson; grandparents, Jack and Ann Musselman and Joanne and Bryant Booth.
