Chad John Wolles
March 5, 1970 - September 2, 2022
Chad Wolles, 52, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at home from a cardiac event. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Chad John Wolles, son of John and Judy (Kringen) Wolles was born March 5, 1970, in Fairbult, Minnesota. He graduated from Colman High School in 1988. After high school he served a stint in the United States Marine Corps before receiving his honorable, medical discharge. Chad was a gifted craftsman who excelled working construction. He received his advanced training from Pipestone VoTech. Chad dedicated over 25 years to NFI construction out of Minneapolis. He shared his abilities with anyone who asked and he thoroughly enjoyed helping family and friends with projects at their homes. He was the only one in the family who could perfect his mother’s potato salad recipe. Chad loved spending time with his friends either socializing at night or at the scheduled 7:00 a.m. breakfasts on Saturdays. His quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Chad met the love of his life, Gracelin, who blessed him with his best friend and son, John. Chad and Gracelin were united in marriage on December 19, 2015. Chad cherished any time spent with Gracelin and John including time spent shopping, watching movies, playing with their pet cats, and socializing at Filipino gatherings.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gracelin of Sioux Falls; son, John V. Wolles of Sioux Falls; father, John J. Wolles of Sioux Falls; siblings, Debbie (Steve) Weets of Sioux Falls, Todd (Lesley) Wolles of Hartford, and Sheri Brandsrud of Sioux Falls; mother-in-law, Merlina Dela Peña of the Philippines; and nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Wolles.
