January 1, 1941 - September 11, 2021
Baw Ei, 80, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota died on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, September 20, 2021, at St. Lambert Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM, until the time of service at the church.
He was born January 1, 1941 in Pruso, Burma. He fled Burma with his family and arrived in a refugee camp in Thailand in 1993. He came with his family to the United States in 2010 and later became United States Citizens.
He is survived by his wife, Khil Moo; seven children, Maw Ei, Lee Maw, Ropi Na, Thuu Meh, Wi Reh, Su Reh and Maria Baw Ei; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four children.
