Daniel "Danny" Dressing
March 19, 1980 - July 5, 2022
Daniel “Danny” Dressing, 42, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at East Side Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 11, 2022, at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls.
Daniel Dressing, son of John and Katherine (Herring) Dressing was born March 19, 1980, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He grew up in Sioux Falls and attended Washington High School and Southeast Tech. He gained valuable experience with electronics, technology and welding. He later became a proficient woodworker and was employed with Showplace Cabinetry. When he was younger, he worked for several fast-food restaurants. His most recently employment was with Lone Star Enterprises Inc. in Canton, South Dakota.
Danny was gifted with a love of animals and friends that knew no bounds. He was a best friend to everyone who knew him. He was very active with the Sioux Empire Pit Rescue and had adopted and fostered when needed. Danny loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles football team. He took great pride in his home and would help anyone with projects at their homes at the drop of a hat. Danny was at his most free when he was on the back of his motorcycle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kathy Dressing of Sioux Falls; sister, Elizabeth Dressing of Sioux Falls; brother, Adam (Jennifer) Dressing of Sioux Falls; and a host of additional family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Dressing; and his grandparents.
