Monica Lee Ann Kjergaard passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Monica was 54.

Monica was born on April 10, 1967 to John and Connie (Corria) Kjergaard in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was the 4th of 10 siblings. Monica attended public schools and graduated from Lincoln High in 1985.

Monica worked in customer service at a variety of call service/collection centers. Her most recent employer was at NCB as a customer service expert.

A few of Monica’s favorite hobbies included outdoor activities, spending time at Falls Park and baking, especially pumpkin bars and cheese cake bars. Monica was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. She had a great love for her dog, Meija, and Monica loved spoiling her nieces and nephews. Monica had a big family heart and never missed a family gathering for a special occasion or holiday. Overall, Monica’s greatest passion was spending time with her family.

Grateful for having shared her life are her sons, Brandon and Jordan Wallin, both of Sioux Falls; mother, Connie Felcher of Sioux Falls; siblings, Vicky Mortinsen of Sioux Falls, Kevin (Beth) Kjergaard of Sioux Falls, Ron Kjergaard of Dunnell, MN, Terry Kjergaard of Sioux Falls, John Kjergaard of Dunnell, MN, Tanya Raymond of Sioux Falls, Danielle (Tony) Williams of Sioux Falls, Danny Jr. Felcher of Sioux Falls and Misty Felcher of Sioux Falls; her significant other, Rodger Page; and many nieces and nephews that were dear to her.

Monica is preceded in death by her father, John Kjergaard; son, Keith Wallin; nephew, Michael Williams; and the father of her children, Dave Wallin.
