Otto A. Neshiem Is Illness Victim
Otto A. Neshiem, 54, a Sioux Falls public accountant, died at a local hospital Wednesday after a long illness. He resided at 1032 E. 9th St.
Mr. Neshiem had worked for several trucking and construction firms. He had been operating a public bookkeeping and tax service for the past 17 years.
Born Jan. 21, 1905, at Lanesboro, Minn., Mr. Neshiem attended Mankato Commercial College, moving to Sioux Falls in 1928.
He was married to Muriel Stoll May 30, 1930, at Minneapolis.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Janice, and two sons, all of Sioux Falls; his mother, Mrs. Elef Hatleli, Lanesboro; four sisters, Mrs. Mable Thompson, Rushford, Minn.; Mrs. Gladious Rouraus, Sebastopol, Calif.; Mrs. Ella Varney, Pollock Pines, Calif., and Mrs. Ida Peterson, Anchorage, Alaska; three brothers, Lester, Hatleli, La Crescent, Calif.; Uiel Hatleli, Camino, Calif.; and Ernest Neshiem, Mabel, Minn., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hope Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. William Schumacher will officiate. Burial will be in Hills fo Rest Cemetery.
Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
