Deirdre L. DiMemmo
May 22, 1970 - July 15, 2021
Deirdre L. DiMemmo, 51 passed away on July 15th 2021. Born in New Jersey, she moved to Sioux Falls in 2005 and began her 17-year career with Avera McKennan Hospital. During this time, Dee had many accomplishments; her most important was being a mother to her son, Saber. She was also honored to be named “Woman of the Year” by SHE magazine in 2012.
Dee enjoyed volunteering. She dedicated much of her time to various organizations, such as Special Olympics and the Banquet of Sioux Falls. She also supported many Church activities and was a Youth Director from 2010 – 2013. Her hobbies included spending time with her beloved pets, doing arts & crafts and blogging. She will be missed by many.
Dee is survived by her husband Robert and her son Saber of Sioux Falls, her mother Judith Paronett of Mitchell, her sister Jeannette Paronett of Sioux Falls, Mother-in-law Janice Greenleaf and husband John Pendergast of New Jersey, Brother-in-law Guy DiMemmo and wife Diane of New Jersey, Sister-in-law Karen Walter and husband Scott of New Jersey, nieces and nephews, Ryan Walter and his wife Hailey of Pennsylvania, Dan DiMemmo of New Jersey, Nicole Walter of Virginia, Julie DiMemmo of Pennsylvania and many cousins and friends.

A Funeral Mass for Dee will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 21 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
