Kenneth White
Trent – Kenneth L. White, 68, a farmer and truck driver, died Monday, June 19, 1995, at the Royal C. Johnson Veteran Memorial Historical in Sioux Falls.
Mr. White was born July 22, 1926, in Dell Rapids. He attended school in Dell Rapids and Egan, and served in the Navy for eight years. He then farmed in rural Trent and drove a truck.
He married Stella "Dot" Steineke on Sept. 2, 1972, in rural Dell Rapids. They moved to Trent in 1979.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons: Fred Steineke of Sioux Falls; and Randy Steineke of Trent; four stepdaughters: Mrs. Kenneth (Dixie) Hinrichs, Mrs. Merle (Karen) Henry and Mrs. Chris (Bonita) Almont, all of Sioux Falls; and Mrs. Danny (Ruth) Edwards of Rowena; 15 step grandchildren; one step great-grandson; and four sisters: Fern Schardin of Lake Bento, Minn.; Rosalie Followell of Riverside, Calif; Arlen Lewis of Sioux Falls; and Delores Gamache of Duluth Minn.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Kahler Funeral Home in Dell Rapids, with burial at Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at the funeral home.
