J. J. Adcock Buried Sunday

Former Resident of Dell Rapids Died Suddenly at Sandstone, Minn., of Heart Failure

The body of John J. Adcock, a former resident of Dell Rapids, came Saturday from Sandstone, Minn., and the funeral services were held from the Hermanson undertaking rooms on Sunday afternoon.

The services were in charge of the Odd Fellows, Mr. Adcock having being been a member of the Dell Rapids lodge. The Rev. G.N. Ga?? The Methodist church gave a short address. Interment was in the Dell Rapids cemetery.

Mr. Adcock died quiet suddenly at Sandstone from heart failure, caused; it was thought, by the effects of his work in the rock quarries there. He as a skillful workman and had been there a long time. Formerly he lived at Dell Rapids and was well known here, he leaving some ten years ago.

Mr. Adcock was born in Markfield, Eng. August 25, 1867. He came to America in 1886. He lived in Dell Rapids until 1900.
