Dennis Gardner, age 64, lost hislife in a farming accident Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 in Beloit, IA. Dennis LeRoy Gardner was born to Merril and Esther (Miller) Gardner on Oct. 4, 1947 in Canton, SD. He graduated from Canton High School. He attended SDSU for 2 1/2 years. Dennis enjoyed farming and raising horses with his sons. He was a member of the Canton Optimist Club. He was united in marriage to Susan Robish in 1967. Out of his marriage he had three children; Michelle, Daniel and David. He was divorced in 1995. He is survived by a special friend, Barb Elcock; daughter, Michelle (Jaysun Younger) Gardner, Sioux Falls, SD; sons: Daniel Gardner, Beloit, IA and David (Elycia) Gardner, Canton, SD; many grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Makayla.
