Reiff dies
After illness
Lester Reiff of Chester died Tuesday night in the Dell Rapids Hospital after a brief illness. He was born at Ida Grove, Ia. on October 7, 1903 and married Myrtle Anderson of February 18, 1925 at Colman.
The couple farmed in the Dell Rapids – Chester area until December 1969, then moved into Chester. He is survived by his widow, daughter Mrs. Robert Nelson, Colman; son, Roger, Wentworth; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, William (Bud) of Brownsville, Texas and George of Chester; two sisters, Mrs. Kay Potas of Chester and Mrs. Esther Artz of Minnesota.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, July 17, in Miller Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. The burial is to take place at Stordahl Cemetery.
