1904-1988
Born on a southern Minnesota farm on July 18, 1904, Arne B. taught in Little Falls and International Falls, Minnesota, then in Brookings. His bands and orchestras were among the best. He also assembled the magnificant collection of musical instruments, brough to Vermillion in 1966, which is the nucleus of The Shrine to Music Museum on the USD campus. He died July 9, 1988.
