A union Civil War veteran, passed away at age 68 of cancer 5 feb 1916. Burial is at Mt Pleasant Cemetery Sioux Falls SD lot 228 sec #8. Ziba was born in Hepbum township, Lycoming CO PA. Son of Isaiah Fry & Elenah WILSON-FRY. He was the 2nd of 12 children. Ziba enlisted in the union army on 19 Aug 1864, COA 19TH Wisconsin Infantry. Ziba married Jennie May Ashley on 3 Jun 1880. Ziba & Jennies only child, Florence Ann was born 18 may 1881. (ancestor of shannon Hagerty)
