The Swallow Family Cemetery is located two or three miles south of U.S. Highway 18, near the west edge of Shannon County. Take the Slim Buttes Road south for two miles and then east three miles; the cemetery is on the north side of the dirt road. That is on your left.

A Presbyterian Church with weekly services at this location was destroyed by a tornado in 1969. There was so much rain that the entire building and contents, including pews, were swept down the nearby creek. In about 2001 this small chapel was built. The graves are in the far distance just to the left of the entrance gate.
