Ash Grove Cemetery is located in Nunda Township eleven miles north of Madison on Highway 81 and one mile east. The name is suggested by its location in a grove of ash trees. E.B. Kellogg, an old soldier, donated the land to the Seventh Day Adventists, which was organized in 1884. A church was located on the site in 1893. The church has been removed.
