Earl "Mike" H. DeWitt, 84, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009 in Mission, TX. Mike was born Nov. 22, 1925 in Fedora, SD to Leo and Mable (Hall) DeWitt. He was united in marriage to Inez Broughton on Sept. 18, 1943. From this union were born three children, Diana Henning (deceased), Mable Olson, Hawaii and Jeffry, Corpus Christi, TX. He retired from John Morrell and Co., Sioux Falls in 1988 after 40 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, oldest daughter and grandson, Glen Henning. Mike is survived by wife of 66 years, Inez, daughter Mable Olson, son Jeffry; brothers: Leo and John; sisters: Rose Zahn and Phyllis Broughton; 4 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters.
