Rites Friday at Tea For John Ollerich A former resident of the Tea locality, John Paul Ollerich, passed away suddenly in the University hospital at Iowa City, Iowa on Monday afternoon, November 10, the victim of an apparent heart attack. He attained the age of 68 years, two months and four days. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 o'clock Friday morning in St. Nicholas Catholic church at Tea, with Rev. Fr. Rock Schirber as celebrant. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery east of Lennox. John Paul Ollerich was born on a farm north of Tea on September 6, 1912, the son of Paul and Louise Ollerich. He attended rural school and grew to manhood in the Tea area. On May 26, 1934 he was united in marriage to Virginia Lerdal at Sioux Falls. The couple lived in the Tea area until 1949 when the family moved to the Fort Dodge, Iowa area. He managed a gas station in Fort Dodge until his retirement in 1974. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, August Ollerich, who passed away last Friday, November 7. Deceased is survived by his widow; one daughter, Jeanne Peters of Lowell, Mass.; three adopted children; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, William Ollerich of Sioux Falls and Joseph Ollerich of Hartford; one sister, Mrs. Ann Mahanke of San Diego, Calif.
