Berneta Hartman, 95, formerly of Sioux Falls died April 24, 2004 in El Paso, Texas. She was born Aug. 2, 1913 in Sioux Falls. She was the daughter of Helen ?Nellie? (Quigley) Hartman, who died in 1985. She attended school in Sioux Falls where she was a member of St. Joseph?s Cathedral. She received her RN degree and was a veteran of World War II, attaining the rank of Colonel in the US Army. After extensive traveling with the US Army she retired to El Paso. She is survived by two distant cousins and a special friend, Leona Nordstrom of Sioux Falls.
