Francis "Frank" Vojtisek, the son of Joseph and Caroline (Cermak) Vojtisek, was born on March 23, 1953 in Tyndall, SD. He grew up and received his education in Tyndall and graduated from Tyndall High School in 1971. Frank graduated from the University of South Dakota Springfield with a degree in Teaching. Frank served as the Department Chair at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. Frank was currently an instructor at Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. He was well respected by his students and co-workers and was very dedicated and enjoyed his work. Frank learned the masonry trade from his father and incorporated this trade and his artistic capabilities in building the new home he and Colleen built together from the ground up. He also loved the outdoors and spent many weekends with his family, fishing and boating at their cabin at the lake. His humor, creativity and talents will leave a special legacy for family and friends. Survivors include his fiance, Colleen Wolf, Tea, SD; son, Michael James Vojtisek and daughter, Michelle Dawn Vojtisek, Wahpeton, ND; brother, Eugene (Joyce) Vojtisek, Kenosha, WI; sisters, Elaine (Syd) Schramm, Grand Junction, CO, Sandi Winter, Billings, MT; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
