Hank Dalgaard
Sherman – Hank L. Dalgaard, 78, a farmer, died Wednesday, Sept 7, 1994, in his home, near Sherman.
Mr. Dalgaard was born Dec. 18, 1915, on a farm near Harrisburg. He attended a country school in the area, before his family moved to Sherman. He then attended county school District No. 37 near Sherman, and graduated from Sherman High School in 1934.
He married Evelyn Edmundson in 1946 in Luverne, Minn. they made their home in Sherman area. He farmed.
He served on the board of directors for Palisade Manor in Garretson and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Sherman.
He was preceded in death by wife.
Survivors include one brother, Ted of Garretson; and one sister, Dorothy Armstrong of Sioux Falls.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Lutheran Church in Sherman, with burial in Zion Luther Cemetery in Garretson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today in the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Garretson, with the family present from 7 to 9.
