Miss Ethel Dockstader, aged fifteen years, died about 8:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Dockstader, of bowel trouble. She was sick less than a week and until the day before her death her condition was not thought to be serious. Monday evening a change occurred and early Tuesday morning she had a sinking spell from she did not rally. Ethel was the daughter of Grant Dockstader, of Moody County, but ever since she was a few years of age had made her home with her grandparents. Her death came as a sever shock to her relatives and schoolmates. The funeral occurred Wednesday afternoon, a short service being held at the Dockstader home at which Rev. J.F. Bryant officiated. Special music for the occasion was rendered by the Misses Edna Johnson, Olive Hartman, Grace Uline and Etta Bryant, Mrs. Albert Holton presiding at the piano. A number of relatives from outside towns were present at the funeral as well as a large number of the friends of the family in Dell Rapids. In addition to these many schoolmates of the deceased were present to pay a last tribune of respect to one whom they all loved. The floral offerings were many and of beautiful designs.
