The mission of this project is to capture digital images of gravestones, we are not a grave registration site. As decades pass -- many stones are becoming harder, if not impossible, to read the inscriptions they originally contained.

By archiving the images of both old and new stones, we can help save these important records and also assist researchers using this valuable resource.

 "Please help us! We used to have family that loved us and came to visit. Now we are covered in poison oak, kids have beer parties on top of our graves, a skunk has burrowed under my stone and tipped it over, and my decendents don't know where we even are buried.
