FORT BENTON - Marvin Plattz, 85, died at the local hospital Sunday. He was born May 26, 1865, in Monticello, la., and homesteaded near Square Butte in 1914. He had lived in the Square-Butte-Geraldine area until about four years ago, when he moved to Fort Benton. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. D. C. Louchs, in South Dakota, and a niece, Mrs. Harry Kain, Swan Lake. The body will be shipped to Dell Rapids, S. D., today for services and burial.
