Funeral services will be Sat., July 7, for Ethel Myrtle Treloar, 88, Madison, who died on July 3, 2007, at Golden Living Center. The Rev. Stephanie Swanson will officiate in St. John Lutheran Church at Madison, and burial will be in Colton Cemetery at Colton.
Ethel Treloar was born on July 31, 1918, at Colton to Harvey and Clara (Heng) Treloar. She grew up in Colton and lived there until moving to Yankton. She moved to Madison, where she worked at Bethel Lutheran Home for 14 years. She had been a resident at Golden Living since 2000. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church since 1989.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Betty Treloar of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl.
