HUMBOLDT MAN DIES IN GRAIN BIN

A rural Humboldt man died of a heart attack Monday evening while working in a grain bin on his farm.

Miles Hahn, 63, was pronounced dead while inside the bin. But it took hours to extricate his body because the grain level was more than 20 feet from the top of the bin.

"He had a history of heart problems," said Minnehaha County Sheriff Mike Milstead. Rescuers from several area fire departments responded to the farm, located approximately five miles north of Humboldt.
