Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 11 am at the Colman Lutheran Church for Mrs. Frances Hahn, 75, who died Sunday at Minneapolis where she was stricken suddenly. The Rev. R.S. Roesler officiated at the service.

Frances Voeltz was born May 25, 1905 at Tea to Otto and Wilhelmina Mallwitz Voeltz. As a young girl she and her family moved to a farm in the Howard area where she completed her education. She was married June 26, 1923 to John A. Hahn at Howard. They farmed in the Howard, Winfred and Madison areas until moving to Colman in 1943. In 1956 she started working as a housekeeper in Sioux Falls and Hawarden, IA, until 1967 when she moved to Minneapolis.

She is survived by her husband, John of Sioux Falls; six sons, Amos, Worthing; John Jr., Minneapolis; Willard, Torrance, CA; Rodney, Fullerton, CA; Miles, Humboldt and Morty, Colman; four daughters, Mrs. Ardis Christensen, Minneapolis; Mrs. Delda Inberg, San Antonio, TX; Mrs. Sandra Hanson, El Segundo, CA and Lana Hahn, Edmonds, WA; 38 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; three sister, Mrs. Wilhelmina Hahn, Howard, Mrs. Agnes Hahn, Brookings and Mrs. Laura Quintero, Huntington Park, CA; and one brother, August Voeltz, Sioux Falls.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five brothers.

She was a member of the Colman Lutheran Church.
