Raymond F. Damm, age 64 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 5, 2021 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, with Visitation on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM, also at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hills of Rest Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.
Raymond Frank Damm was born on March 21, 1957 in Flandreau, SD to Kenneth and Georgia (Earl) Damm. Raymond lived in Trent, SD on a farm and moved to town in 1959. He attended Flandreau High School and drove truck for various companies for over 45 years. Raymond married Cleo Kay Sayler on December 5, 1981 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Grateful for sharing his life are his daughters, Regina Zurcher and Tina Damm, both of Sioux Falls, SD and Lena (Rick) Zwieg of Warren, MI, Jamie (Jesse) Gasper of Flandreau, SD; grandchildren, Jennie (Jason) Penning of Crooks, SD, Karena Damm of Brookings, SD, Sally (Matthew Penning) Damm of Sioux Falls, SD, Zack Zwieg of Warren, MI, James Auren of Flandreau, SD, Grant Zwieg and Brett Zwieg, both of Warren, MI, Jaylynn, Juliana, and Joseph Gasper, all of Flandreau, SD; his great-grandchildren, Jydin, Saphira, Renley, Asher, Leilani, and Holden; siblings, Darrell (Judy) Damm of Sioux Falls, SD, Richard Damm of Flandreau, SD, Velma (Vernon) Auren of Flandreau, SD; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Cleo Damm on January 28, 2021; daughter, Ladena Damm on November 9, 2004; parents, Kenneth Damm and Georgia (Earl) Krier; step-father, Leavern Krier; sister, Norma Janssen; brother, Dwayne Damm; and nephew, Dennis Auren.
