Dies Suddenly. the community was shocked Monday evening to hear of the sudden death of A.D. Roberts (Delos), who lived about six miles north of Flandreau in Springcreek township. He was taken sick on Friday, not thought seriously, but on Monday morning fear was entertained that his condition was dangerous. The cause was peritonitis (acute inflammation of the lining of the abdomen). the last move he made was to sit up in bed and drop back dead. He was the picture of health. Death came so suddenly that it did not seem possible. He leaves a family of five children, the oldest 14. Mrs. P.W. Heintz and Mrs. W.H. Ramsdell of Grovena, were his sisters. Deceased had reached the age of 45 years. the funeral was held yesterday from the M.E. Church, Rev. Cave officiating. the services were under the charge of the Workman lodge of which Mr. Roberts was a member. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their extremely sad affliction.
