Funeral is Held
Flandreau Man Resident 58
Years - Farmer in Union Township
Flandreau, S.D., Aug. 24, - Funeral services were held in the Methodist church here for Albert D. Payne, 85, who had been a resident of Moody County for about 58 years. He was born in Green Lake County, Wisconsin. He located on a farm near Flandreau in 1884. Later he moved to Flandreau and after a few years retuned to the farm in Union Township. Several years ago his eyesight failed and he had been in poor health for some time. Surviving are the widow; a son, Roy Payne, of Moody County and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Kilkin of Moody County, and Mrs. Hattie Stransky, of Brookings.
