Heart Attach Claims
9 Year Old Flan, Girl
Lois Bell, nine-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Benn, residing northwest of Flandreau, died suddenly Wednesday, February 19, from a heart attack.
About two years ago she had scarlet fever followed by a long siege of rheumatic fever but apparently had regained her health. She attended rural school on Monday.
Lois was the second daughter and child of Mr. and Ms. Bell, the later being the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Furr of this vicinity. A sister, Dorothy, a brother, Harold and an infant sister, also survive.
