Mrs. Art A. Duncan
Egan, S.D. – Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church at Egan for Mrs. Art A. Duncan, 77, who died suddenly at a Dell Rapids Hospital.
Hazel Stombaugh was born Oct 2, 1895, near Lone Tree. She was educated in Moody County and was married to Art A. Duncan March 4, 1914, at Egan. The couple farmed in the Egan area. Her husband preceded her in death in 1966.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Francis DeLay, Egan; Mrs. Morgan Wagoner, Albany N.Y., and Mrs. Leonard Amdahl, Sioux Falls; two sons, DuWayne, Flandreau, and Dwight Hawarden, Iowa; a brother, Riving Stombaugh, Egan; 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
