Parmer Waxdahl was born April 19, 1896 on a farm south of Flandreau in Moody County to Nels P. and Rosina Miller Waxdahl. He received his education in rural Moody County schools and then farmed with his brother, Creston, until his marriage to Viola Kramer on September 4, 1922 at Whitewater, WI. They continued to live and farm in Grovena Township.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Gearld, Flandreau and Robert, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Glenn, Flandreau and one sister, Mrs. Leah Keating, Flandreau. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, one brother and three sisters.
