This is a charcoal drawing of my Paternal Grandparents, Christoph and Anna Peters. They were both German immigrants. Anna came with her large family at age 21 years from Danzig, Russia. Christoph came from Mechlenburg area of Germany in 1874 at the age of 27. He was the only one of his immediate family to come to America. Ann and Christoph were married 1884 in Avon, SD.
