Birth: Oct. 9, 1861
Death: Aug. 13, 1884
Mrs. Thos. Daker, formerly living two and one-half miles north of town, died on Wednesday last, the funeral taking place Thursday. Her unfortunate and fatal sickness was puerperal fever. She was a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church but had never joined the local division, and her loss is deeply deplored by her numerous friends. Rev. Wilkinson preached the funeral sermon.
