Son of William and Minnie (Sikkink) Alberda.
Oneita Jul 8, 1917 - Jul. 2, 2008
Services were held for Oneita E. Alberda who died July 2, 2008. Born July 8, 1917, Oneita was born and raised in Kansas where she attended school through two years of college. During WWII Oneita worked as a line foreman at a munitions factory, overseeing production of ammunition. After the war she had a civil service career of over 35 years. In 1948 she married Albert Alberda and they raised two children. Al was in the Air Force and they were stationed in several countries before returning to California, where they owned a business. They had a happy life together. Al died in 1989. Oneita is survived by daughter Teresa Carson (Jay), friend Theresa Kramer, two sisters, nieces and nephews. A son, William, predeceased her.
