Gladys Maxine Woods was born to John Wesley and Ethelyn Christina (Hoover) Woods on April 1, 1921 at Worthing. She graduated from Worthing High School in 1939. She married Delwin Kuhns on April 28, 1940 and they farmed east of Canton. Delwin died April 30, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Kopecky in 1978 and her brother, Marion Woods in 1991. Gladys married Winston Hill on December 28, 1993 and they made their home in Sioux Falls. Gladys was a former member of Canton United Methodist Church and was presently a member of First Congregational Church in Sioux Falls. She was a member of Homemakers Extension Club, Area Bible Study, Mandskor Chorus Auxiliary and Sioux Valley Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Winston; three grandchildren, Eugene (Stacy) Kopecky of Rochester, MN, Jon (Krista) Kopecky of Waseca, MN, and Karla (Michael) Rolfzen of St. Cloud, MN; great-grandchildren, Alayna, Nathan and Samantha; step-great-grandchildren, Kyle and Ryan; step-son, David (Marlys) Hill of Sioux Falls; step-grandchildren, Thomas Hill and Greg (Shannon) Hill; nephew, Duane (Shirley) Woods of Worthing; nieces, Betty (Thomas) Mausbach of Fargo, ND and Sandy Kelsey of Sioux Falls.
