Everett Edvin Anderson, son of Jens C. and Hilma C. (Swenson) Anderson, was born August 1, 1915, on the family farm near Valley Springs, SD. He grew up there and graduated from Valley Springs High School.

Everette was united in marriage with Dorice G. Peterson on June 19, 1946, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD. They settled on the family farm, where Everette spent his entire life. They retired from farming in 1979.

He was a lifetime member of Beaver Valley Lutheran Church where he served on several church boards and sang in the choir. He served on the Red Rock Township Board and the A.S.C.S. Committee.

Everette loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, three daughters and their spouses, three sons and their spouses, 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a brother and his wife, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Clarice Nielsen; and a brother, Clarence.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather wit the family for lunch and fellowship at Beaver Valley Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall following the committal service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Beaver Valley Lutheran Church.
